In celebration of Justin’s new job. we wanted to enjoy some time off together doing something a little out of the ordinary. So we took a fun little day trip on Monday to Santa Monica. We thought it would be nice to get out of the area and LA sounded like a fun place to venture out to! We started off at Shutters on The Beach, on the patio with a beach front view & for some cocktails to start the day off right! This was also walking distance from the Santa Monica pier, which we visited after Shutters. We walked the boardwalk did a little shopping and indulged on some corn dogs!
After the boardwalk, we meandered along Ocean Ave throughout the day & eventually ended up at The Bungalow watching Monday night football, having some drinks & apps. The Santa Monica location is the original location of the two bars. There’s a Huntington Beach location that’s identical, this bar has such a comfy inviting feel to it, both locations are worth a visit! f you’re looking to get away for the day, with a beach view & a city feel, then this is a great choice!
Last but not least, lets talk day trip fashion! A major Fall trend this year are these classic 501 Levi skinny jeans. I was so excited to wear these new jeans out on our day trip.
