Pan Seared Halibut Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Halibut fillets
4 Tbs butter
1 lemon
4 Garlic cloves
Salt & pepper
Directions:
- Season halibut fillets with salt, pepper & squeeze half lemon.
- Melt butter, chopped garlic & other half of lemon in pan on low/medium heat until fragrant (3-5min).
- Just before you place the fillets on the stove, change heat to high. Allow fillets to cook on high heat for 3-4 minutes, then reduce heat back to medium heat. This will help add a nice golden glaze to the fillet.
- Cook for about 7 minutes on each side or to your desired taste. Enjoy!
This dish pairs perfectly with a white wine, mashed potatoes & Brussels sprouts.
