As much as I love to shop, I also think it’s nice to stop and take a look inside your closet – especially if you love clothes like I do. This weekend, I mixed and match some of my summer wardrobe pieces for our planned festivities. We celebrated a co-ed baby shower with some family friends so today I’m sharing a baby boy shower guest outfit & everyday fall look styled with a casual updo with some face framing pieces. Look out for my Holiday updo tutorial YouTube video, coming soon!

When it comes to working that wardrobe year round, I’m all for mixing and matching tones from different seasons. As I mentioned above, before heading out to shop for an outfit, try looking in your own closet. This weekend I paired a blue stripe button down top (which was a summer buy for our Barbados trip) with a pair of distressed denim jeans by Articles of Society; I love the fit and quality of these jeans & have them in multiple colors. For my Sunday casual fall look I paired together a blue mini skirt from Old Navy; this was bought a while ago & is great year round. To add a more fall touch, I paired it with a berry infinity scarf which I’ve had for years and I love –  I’ve shared a similar one below. Adding a touch of brightness with yellows and mustard tones this season is such a fun & different way to switch up your daily look.
