With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I wanted to share some of my favorite “date night in” dinner ideas. Justin and I usually go out to dinner on the weekends, but when we stay in, I love making something special like Filet Mignon or this delicious Lobster, Shrimp & Sausage Broil. Believe it or not, this broil is actually really easy and will have your date in awe that you made such a beautiful dish! Below I’m sharing the recipe for this seafood broil. Trader Joe’s is where I like to buy my seafood from & they currently have Lobster Tails on sale for $9.99.

Serves 4

*Cut recipe in half if making for 2

Ingredients:

4 lobster tails (current $9.99 for two frozen, wild caught at Trader Joe’s)

20 pieces of raw, deveined, tail on shrimp

4 corn on the cobs

4 spicy sausage

1 Tbsp fresh parsley

6 red potatoes

2 sticks of butter

1 lemon

Directions: Marinate shrimp, lobster with seasoning and melted butter in fridge for 30 minutes. While marinating, parboil the corn and potatoes in boiling water for 10 min. Cook sausage on stove top for 10 minutes. (You want to parboil the corn and potatoes and halfway cook the sausage because you will be broiling this together later.) Once this is all done, mix everything together on a lightly oiled large cookie sheet or baking pan. Broil on high for 10 min. Serve over rice. Enjoy!
